This is a revamped signup screen for the Userflow product, redesigned to enhance user confidence and decision-making. By adding key metrics, testimonials, and supporting modules, the screen now builds trust and provides clarity at first glance. These improvements helped reduce friction in the signup process and increased the overall conversion rate from 14% to 38%.

Main Goals

  • Build user trust and clarity during the signup process by showcasing key metrics and testimonials.
  • Reduce hesitation and friction by providing contextual information that supports confident decision-making.
  • Improve overall conversion rates through a more engaging, trustworthy, and visually balanced signup experience.

Challenges Addressed

  • Previous screen had only a single input field & CTA, placed in the center of a blank screen, making it feel empty and unconvincing.
  • Lack of contextual information like testimonials, metrics, or supporting visuals led to low user confidence and poor engagement.
  • The design failed to communicate product value upfront, causing users to drop off before completing the signup.

Design Approach

  • Started by analyzing competitor signup screens to understand what emotions they evoke and how they build user trust.
  • Identified the emotional intent and core purpose of this screen to reassure users and motivate them to take action confidently.
  • Designed & tested two refined versions of the signup screen, each focused on boosting conversion rates through clarity, trust elements, and visual balance.
